Stanley M. Ellis is vice president of Calkins Media. In his current role, Stanley serves on the company’s board of directors, providing strategic direction, policy oversight and governance to the company as it transforms itself into a multi-faceted, multi-generational company as well as a foundation supporting various causes with an emphasis on quality journalism. Stanley graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1979 with a B.S. in marketing. In 1986, he received an MBA from The Wharton School. Stanley believes in the value of education and serves on the board of trustees of Franklin University, an American liberal arts university in Lugano, Switzerland, from which all three of his children graduated. Additionally, Ellis serves on the board of trustees of Stockton University, a public university in southern New Jersey, where he served as chairman from 2010-2012. He also serves on the board of trustees of the Rowan College at Burlington County Foundation. Stanley serves as the secretary of the Ellis Family Charitable Foundation which gives back to the community that had provided the family such tremendous support, both personally and professionally.
