Sarah Richmond, a 3rd Generation Jones Family member, has been a part of the Dawn Foods family for 23 years and serves as Director of the Dawn Corporate Giving Program and is a member of the Dawn Board of Directors. In her Corporate Giving role, Sarah leads the global charitable giving of Dawn Foods, an international bakery manufacturer and ingredients supplier with a 100-year track record of providing customers with the innovative thinking, products and bakery expertise that they need to grow their business. Under Sarah’s leadership, the Dawn Corporate Giving Program supports and enhances the 27 local communities, across the globe, where Dawn has manufacturing and distribution locations. In 2018 alone, the foundation assisted 43 organizations dedicated to afterschool programming, literacy, hunger prevention, music, technology and much more. Sarah’s passion for serving communities goes beyond her role as director. In the Jackson, Michigan, community where she lives with her husband and four children, she serves as Chair of the Jackson Community Foundation Board and is an Executive Board Member of the Anchor Initiative, which promotes investment in downtown Jackson. She is also the recipient of the 2020 Athena Award from the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce for her service to the Jackson community. This award is given to individuals who excel in their field, give back to their community and inspire women toward leadership.
