Advisory Services
Ernst & Young LLP
Catherine Fankhauser is a senior manager in the Family Office Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP. She supports families as they elevate their offices’ people, processes and technology to align with leading practices. Catherine has assisted with the full design and setup of family offices and several technology system searches and selections — including RPA and content management — the creation of family governance bodies and documents, and multiple leading practice and risk diagnostics.
Prior to joining EY, Catherine was the Director of Finance for a private family office, which focused on the management of a restaurant franchise and investment in commercial real estate. A major part of her role required creating ad hoc projection models to examine what-if expansionary-type scenarios for the family businesses. She also performed tax compliance and analysis for company entities, outside investors and owner charitable vehicles. Catherine previously worked as a manager in the federal tax practice of another Big Four firm.
